First learning network experience
Welcome to FLEXSEAT
" A learning network" was a term I personally never thought would be a thing. After experiencing a few programs such as twitter deck and google+ communities I fully understand why it has begun to grow. Of course at first I was completely lost on how to use the programs but after learning to navigate them I began to enjoy adding and collaborating information on the pages. I honestly wasn't much of a fan for the twitter deck program. For the simple reason if it's not a very popular topic with several users contributing it's more of a slow process. On the other hand I truly found creating a google + community entertaining! Being able to create a place for people like myself and any other educators, students, and even parents to collaborate I feel will give incite and resources to a wide range of users who can gain key information from each other.
After creating the page sustain it has been a little tougher. It found it a little harder to gain users than programs such as twitter because I already have a number of followers on twitter. So personally my audience on google isn't as big but with time I think the audience will definitely grow. Once I get friends and family and the entire class on board the community will start the branch out and be shared with others which is when it begins to prosper.
Personally I really think I am going to benefit from this community. It's based on a topic I find myself wondering and going back and forth on the positives verse he negatives quite often. Since I'm so interested I feel that it will be a great place to invest time and research while also gaining from others in the community. I quickly found information, tips, and videos I couldn't wait to post and share on the page for others to have.Outside of the page I created there seems to be endless access to not only education based groups but so much more. Knowing this gives me another option of tech to use when blogging, tweeting, and whatever else seems to be lagging.
