Real or Fake?

Things are authenticated and make fake all the time with the access we have to tech tools and technology. There are more scams and fake pictures out there than we can recognize. Taking a look at these images, quotes, and etc. are the real or fake? How can you tell?
Here were my answers!


1.

 My answer: Real. Nothing stands out to contradict that the image is fake. You can even tell the dun is setting behind where the image is taken. There is a reflection of the sun on one of the buildings which would be hard to make not real.


Correct answer: Fake. There are several small details by zooming in you could find. There was even a cursor from the computer mouse left on the screen.

2.

My answer: Real. Once again I couldn't find any mistakes to these reviews. I thought both of them were real, liable possibilities to a review of a hotel. They both made sense and complimented the hotel. 


Review 1: Stayed here for two nights with my wife and golden retriever in a pet friendly room. All staff in the hotel are super friendly and helpful. Can't beat the location. Visiting our son at Dalhousie. We are traveling from Maine and have greatly enjoyed Halifax. If you are into jogging, you can leave hotel and make loop in the point.

Review 2: We only stayed for one night but I would have happily stayed here longer. The hotel is beautiful throughout. We upgraded our room for a good price and had a really nice king bed which was really comfy. We ordered room service too for breakfast and were very impressed how quickly the food came.


Correct answer: Real. Finally I was right!


3. 
My answer: 
Fake, 
Real., Fake.
 I didn't have much prior knowledge about the quotes so I decided what else would help better than to google them. I found a very detailed resources to lead me to the Jefferson quotes being fake. I did the same with the other 2 quotes. 

Quote 1: “Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you."
Quote 2: “That the obliquity of the ecliptic, when these elephants lived, was so great as to include with the tropics all those reasons in which the bones are found."

Quote 3:  “Gun control works great for the people who are law-abiding citizens and it does nothing for the criminals, and all it does is put the people at risk.”


Correct answer: I was surprisingly correct on all 3 quotes! Thanks to google or I would have been a bit more clueless.

The Scientific Method VS    The Engineering Process                                                                           Visually you can see the difference between the steps within the scientific method and the Engineering process. Both serve as a way to figure out a way to experiment to find results or a solution. But they both have different ways of doing so. Final Reflection

Final Reflection  Throughout this semester I have learned an aptitude of tools to help me further my academic knowledge in order to be a better educator. Several of the strategies I have learned that will be put to use include how to construct and use pathways, use science notebooks, and multiple technology tools. Before this class I had never heard of pathways or playlist. Personally I connected with and prefer pathways better. From a personal point of view I was never apart of a strategy like this when I was in grade school. Education is definitely constantly changing and when introduced to pathways, shows how much we are learning about education and how much it can really benefit every type of learner.
