TPACK is one of my personal favorite frameworks because it's specific break down of technology, content, and pedagogy. Pulling the content that students are working towards, and then being able to determine how you intend to teach, and then focusing on what technology you want to use to do so provides a great framework for instruction.
Overall the use of technology can help the speed of things in the classroom it's much easier to record grades online directly after grading papers rather than writing them in a grade book. Before long they will have to be entered into the computer so it's saving you an extra step. It also allows everything to be in one place, virtually. Any type of paperwork can be duplicated into an online system now. It's also a great way to adapt the students to our future. Regardless if we like the changing world of technology we have to make the change as well. If students aren't introduced now they will struggle in the long run when everything is virtually based online.
Google docs is a great tool that can be used class wide with access to a computer. Not only does it allow you to access it anywhere it can pretty much be shared in collaboration with anyone. Wether that be a different students or someone in a different state. This is a common tool used by me as a student and by my cooperating teacher. It allows access to so much more than working with one other person and only being able to share through email, or paper in person. This tool includes every aspect of the SAMR model from substitution, augmentation, modification, and redefinition.
