Exploring the advantages and disadvantages of the tech world

Reflection There are a several instructional strategies used across subjects to instruct around content vocabulary within my classroom placement. The strategies used most are read-alouds, word parts, and graphic organizers. Read-alouds are used in my class whenever there is maybe a new topic or just to get students minds ready and thinking about what they are about to learn. Read-alouds are a great way to expose students to all types of vocabulary. Whether it be a good introduction subject specific or just to widen their range of oral vocabulary. It’s interesting to see students during the lesson referring back to and making connections with what they heard in the read aloud. Using word- parts is a quick way to break down a word and determine its meaning. Sometimes it’s easy for students because they can look at the familiar word parts within the bigger word. What is an anchor chart? An anchor chart is a tool used to support instruction in the classroom and to provide a scaffold during guided and independent practice. It can also serve as a classroom management tool as students self-monitor their behavior by behind reminded of expectations or rules. The chart is made along side the lesson of instruction and then displayed in the classroom as needed or all the time. Anchor Charts in Science Anchor charts can be used in any subject. I think using them for science is just like any other subject specifically the discovery and visual aspect of science can directly be shown on a chart. Both the teacher and student take role in contributing the creation of the chart which keeps the students engaged in creating the visual. The Scientific Method VS    The Engineering Process                                                                           Visually you can see the difference between the steps within the scientific method and the Engineering process. Both serve as a way to figure out a way to experiment to find results or a solution. But they both have different ways of doing so. Cooperative educational Gaming experience I decided to play the game called "Drag Race Division" on www.coolmath4kids.com   with my boyfriend as a 2 player game but there was an option for up to 4 players so the other 2 players were computers. I'm very familiar with this website because I used it all the time as a child inside and outside of school. I found this specific game because I'm always looking for ways to work on multiplication and this game does exactly that. It basically creates a race between you and a computer or you and up to 3 other friends as a multiplayer game. You can create a "private game" with a password so that the friends you select can enter into the game on their own computer with the password. It displays multiplication problems and when you answer one correct you move forward. So whoever gets the most correct, the fastest is going to beat you to the finish line. Things are authenticated and make fake all the time with the access we have to tech tools and technology. There are more scams and fake pictures out there than we can recognize. Taking a look at these images, quotes, and etc. are the real or fake? How can you tell? Here were my answers! 1. 
  My answer: Real. Nothing stands out to contradict that the image is fake. You can even tell the dun is setting behind where the image is taken. There is a reflection of the sun on one of the buildings which would be hard to make not real. 
 Correct answer: Fake. There are several small details by zooming in you could find. There was even a cursor from the computer mouse left on the screen. 2. 
 My answer: Real. Once again I couldn't find any mistakes to these reviews. I thought both of them were real, liable possibilities to a review of a hotel. They both made sense and complimented the hotel.
